January - February 2019
Thank you for your ideas!
We’re now preparing our report for The centre’s management team.
Thanks to a grant from the Victorian Government we're investigating ways The Centre might benefit from social entrepreneurship. Social enterprises are commercially viable businesses driven by making a positive social impact. If we had one, it would complement our community development role and may help us to deliver more programs to meet local social and economic needs through training for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
Tuesday 22 January - Newsletter 1 released
Monday 28 January - Newsletter 2 released
Thank you to those able to attend the staff workshop on Thursday 31 January
Monday 4 February - Newsletter 3 released
Friday 8 February - opportunity to submit social enterprise ideas closes at 5pm.
Monday 11 February - preparation of the social enterprise exploratory report begins.

Can you leverage The Centre’s strengths, partners, networks?
Does this align with existing programs / services?
Can the idea generate revenue?
Does the potential revenue justify the investment?
Can implementation be timely?
