More Victorian Government support to boost your business

That’s why it’s not surprising that nearly half of Victoria’s 3,500 social enterprises are in rural and regional areas.

This vibrant for-purpose approach makes a real difference to many of our towns and regional centres. Whether it’s community-owned fuel, hardware and rural supplies businesses like Yackandandah Community Development Company, Euroa health’s Bowerbird op shop, or the inspired Transition Village Wallan crew who are building a village of tiny houses for Wallan’s homeless population – communities across the country are applying business strategy to achieve a social, cultural, community or environmental goal.

Round 4 of the Victorian Government’s Boost Your Business Social Enterprise Capability Voucher Stream is open until 22 December 2019.

If your not-for-profit or charitable organisation needs help to start a social enterprise or to move to a social enterprise model, we can help.

If your existing social venture is looking to become more productive, create market access and increase its scale, profitability and impact, keep us in mind.

If you’re an interstate social enterprise looking to relocate to Victoria, let’s chat.

For every dollar you chip in, through this program the Victorian Government will provide four dollars (up to $25k) towards helping you apply business and finance skills to solve social and community challenges. For the first time, this funding is also open to successful social enterprises from other states who are intending to relocate or expand into Victoria.

Through this program, we can help you to:

  • implement new business systems and processes that increase productivity
  • identify new market opportunities and develop workable plans to access those markets
  • increase financial readiness, to identify and manage investment and funding opportunities
  • increase contract readiness, to access government and corporate procurement opportunities.

We are registered providers for this program.

Applications close on Sunday 22 December 2019.
